FAQOral surgery
Are oral surgery procedures painful?
Procedures are performed under local anesthesia, so the procedure itself isn’t painful. Some temporary discomfort may follow, usually relieved by pain medication.
How do I know if I need surgery?
A complete assessment with X-rays, or even a 3D scan, allows your dentist to evaluate the situation. A consultation then establishes the treatment plan and a detailed cost estimate.
What precautions should I take after oral surgery?
Rest, stick to soft foods, brush your teeth regularly and follow the surgeon’s instructions. If you have pain, fever or excessive bleeding, contact your dentist.
